| The addition of a Bay Window create a new dimension to any room. A Bay window consists of three panels, and extends outward to allow for greater light and visual benefits. A roof and a base are added with a large variety of models and finishes. The Bay usually has a large middle panel, and smaller side panels that are operating, thereby allowing for fresh airflow. The interior shelf that results from the extension can be covered with ceramic tiles, stratified materials or even oak. The choice is yours. |
A Bow Window consists of 4 panels or more ( up to 6) that are arranged in a curve to allow for a slighter extension than that of a Bay window. A Bow can also be finished in a variety of ways. A Bow will "open up" a room and let more light in. Most often the two exterior panels are operating and the middle panels fixed. |
