This premium-quality PVC casement window is as attractive as it is durable, with a lustrous, high-gloss finish that is practically indistinguishable from aluminum, thanks to the use of virgin powder PVC rather than pellet. The 450LS series is also structurally constructed, as opposed to modular, which yields a number of advantages: First and foremost, the window is stronger because of its "one piece" construction.
In addition, it is more visually appealing because the posts are set back to be even with the sashes rather than the frame. Another advantage of structural construction is that there is a larger glass area. Of course, all 450 LS windows are custom-built to the client's specifications and particular needs. |
The Best Protection
The 4-5/8" exterior frame eliminates the possibility of water infiltration because there are no added outside extensions and the wider frame allows the sash to be more in line with the insulation in the wall. Black, triple weather-stripping blocks any air leakage and provides a superior seal that will not discolour. The weather-stripping system works well in both cold and warm temperatures. |
